Description
A reconstructed Thrift store find. A woman's (mans?) Middle Eastern or N. Indian style linen coat. Originally completely closed in the front, I popped the seams to open it up years ago. It can be seen in my current ID: [link] & in past photos: [link]
After completing the Cinnabar Coat: [link]
I felt compelled to alter this one. I trimmed it to be Underbust & used the leftover Appliques from the front to decorate the shoulders. The original border trim was removed & replaced with an icey blue/grey trim thst reminded me of an early frost.
Gold braid trim was added to the neck.
